Huntington’s Disease is a genetic disorder that results in the death of brain cells. It produces profound personality changes, and behavioural symptoms can include aggression, disinhibition, and altered sexuality.

A large study of Huntington’s patients revealed that crime was more prevalent in men but not in women. The increased crime rate may be related to the disease itself, or due to associated depression or alcohol abuse.
